This Privacy Policy explains how Resellers Paradise ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit resellersparadise.co.uk, subscribe to our newsletter, or join our paid membership community.

We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Data Controller

Information We Collect

• Identity and contact data: first name, last name and email address, collected when you subscribe to our newsletter, contact us, or purchase a membership.
• Account and membership data: username, Discord ID, subscription status and membership tier, managed through our community platform (Whop).
• Payment data: processed by Whop and Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
• Consent records: when you opt in to our emails we record the date and time, the page you signed up on, and the wording you agreed to.
• Marketing engagement data: email opens, clicks, unsubscribe events and preferences, used to keep our list engaged and compliant.
• Technical and usage data: IP address, browser, device, pages visited and referring URL, used for analytics and security.

How We Use Your Information and Our Lawful Basis

Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for every purpose. Ours are:

• Delivering our membership and services (processing payments, giving you access to Discord, autobuy, monitors, guides and the app): contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
• Sending marketing emails and newsletters (our free newsletter, exclusive discount codes, deals, price error alerts, and offers): consent (Article 6(1)(a)), given via an un-ticked opt-in box at signup. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing us.
• Emailing existing customers about similar products: legitimate interests under the PECR "soft opt-in", only where we obtained your details during a sale or negotiation for a sale and gave you the chance to opt out. You can opt out at any time.
• Responding to enquiries and support requests: legitimate interests.
• Improving the website, analytics and fraud prevention: legitimate interests.
• Meeting legal and regulatory obligations (tax, accounting, responding to lawful requests): legal obligation.

Marketing Emails and Your Consent

We only send marketing emails where you have actively opted in, or where the PECR soft opt-in applies because you are an existing paying member and we are telling you about similar services.

Every marketing email we send will:

• Clearly identify Resellers Paradise as the sender
• Include a working one-click unsubscribe link
• Include our contact details

You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or emailing [email protected]. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it. When you unsubscribe we keep your email address on a suppression list so we do not email you again by mistake.

Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with processors who act on our instructions under a data processing agreement:

• Whop Inc. (USA): community access, membership management and payment handling. Whop privacy policy.
• Stripe, Inc. (USA / Ireland): payment processing.
• Discord, Inc. (USA): community server hosting.
• Our email service provider: stores our subscriber list and delivers newsletters and marketing emails on our behalf.
• Website hosting and analytics providers: used to run and measure the website.
• Professional advisers and authorities: where legally required.

International Data Transfers

Some of our processors (including Whop, Stripe, Discord and our email service provider) are based in the United States or other countries outside the UK. Where we transfer your personal data internationally we rely on the UK Government's adequacy decisions where available (including the UK-US Data Bridge), Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum, or other safeguards permitted under UK GDPR.

How Long We Keep Your Data

• Newsletter subscribers: for as long as you remain subscribed. If you do not open or click any of our emails for 12 months we will send a re-engagement email and then stop emailing you.
• Paid members: for the duration of your membership plus 6 years to meet HMRC record-keeping obligations.
• Suppression list: we keep unsubscribed email addresses indefinitely as a suppression record so we do not accidentally email you again. PECR requires this.
• Website analytics data: up to 26 months.

Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and working only with processors that meet recognised security standards. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to minimise risk.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access your personal data (subject access request)
• Rectify inaccurate personal data
• Request erasure of your personal data
• Object to processing, including direct marketing
• Request restriction of processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time (where we rely on consent)
• Not be subject to automated decision-making with legal effect

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
